National Net Re-treatment Campaign

This activity was aimed at treating all nets which were not treated for more than 12 months. It was a onetime activity which was implemented simultaneously with the Under-five Catch Up Campaign, contracted to Campaign International.  was contracted to implement a National Net Re-treatment Campaign.

Implementation was done zone by zone with two to three regions grouped together. This national activity was supported by the World Bank (WB).

In phase one of the net re-treatment campaign, a total of 1,200,00 ITNs were retreated in seven regions. The second phase comprised of 13 regions with 77 districts. In this phase, a total of 3,730,000 ITNs were re-treated.
