The Communication and Malaria Initiative in Tanzania (COMMIT) is a five year USAID funded project implemented by the Centre for Communication Programmes (CCP) at the Johns Hopkins University, working with PMI and the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP).

The BCC partners support NMCP to reach the BCC objective:

To create an enabling environment where individuals and household members are empowered to minimize their own malaria risk and seek proper and timely malaria treatment if and when needed so that 90% of caretakers are able to take actions to protect their children from malaria.
