World Health Organization

World Health Organization (WHO) is the technical authority for health within the United Nations (UN) system. It provides leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. In malaria control, WHO assists countries in preparing strategic plans, as well as providing guidelines for key interventions.
